Dear Friends,
I have officially filed for reelection to continue serving as Presiding Judge of Travis County Court-at-Law #7. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve the people of Travis County, and I would be deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue that service for another term.
I would like to take a moment to personally thank you for your encouragement, your friendship, and your belief in the work we’ve done together. To those who have contributed to the campaign—thank you. Your support has helped us build the resources we need to run an energetic and effective campaign.
Every day in my courtroom, I am reminded how important this work is—treating every person with fairness, compassion, and respect for the law. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’m excited about what we can continue to do together in the years ahead.
As I formally filed my candidacy, I was joined by my family, including my husband Jeff, my mom Barbara, and our oldest daughter Alexandra. We even had our youngest daughter Avery with us online from law school. It was a special moment and I’m glad they could be with me.
